At present, the most commonly used frequency bands for satellite services are the C (4-8GHz) and Ku (12-18GHz) frequency bands, and the Ka (27-40GHz) frequency band is a rising star. The C frequency band is used for fixed satellite services, usually 6/4GHz is expressed as uplink and downlink frequencies; the Ku frequency band is used for fixed satellite services and live broadcast satellite services, and 12-14GHz (14/12GHz) is most commonly used.
The Ku-band has high frequency and high gain, and the antenna size is small, which is easy to install and can effectively reduce the receiving cost.
